The Crystal Palace shot stopper who is currently on loan at Colchester paid a courtesy visit to the NFF president in Abuja on Friday.
According to an update by Brila FM, Goodman has committed to play for Nigeria, despite also being eligible to play for England and Canada.
The 20-year-old's father is English and his mum, Nigerian and posses a Canadian eligibility status after he and his parents moved to Canada in 2009.
Goodman has played for the U-20 sides of the Canadian and the English playing once and twice respectively.
His decision to play for Nigeria comes at a point when the Super Eagle's goalkeeping crisis seem to be a thing if they past with the brilliant performances of African Cup of Nations shinning light, Stanley Nwabali and in-form Maduka Okoye, making the competition in the department one to relish if Goodman eventually makes the switch.
