The Super Eagles forward opened score for the reigning Italian Serie A champions before going off with a knock in Napoli’s 1-1 draw against Cagliari.

After 45 minutes of play and additional time there was nothing to separate the two sides at the Domus Arena at the interval.

In the second half, the African Footballer of year brought his striker's instinct to break the deadlock for Napoli in the 65th minute.

He positioned himself to head the visitors in front from Raspadori's cross after the Italian does brilliantly to regain possession out wide.

Mazzocchi was brought in in Osimhen's stead after he suffered a knock on the 85th minute as Napoli continued to hold to the lead.
