Nigeria forward, Victor Osimhen scored his tenth goal of the season in the Siera A as Napoli bounced back from their loss to Inter Milan to win 2-0 win against Sampdoria on Sunday.
The number nine man put the home side ahead in the 19th minute after a timely run which connected him to a cross by Mario Rui to put the ball beyond the goalkeeper.
It was his first goal this year and his eleventh in all competitions after 16 (14 starts) appearances.
The former Lille striker became the first Nigeria to score double digits goal in three seasons in the Italian Siera A.
Elmas went ahead to make it two for Napoli from the penalty spot in the 82nd minute sealing the win against 10-man Sampdoria.
Napoli will play their next game against Juventus in a mouthwatering tie that pitches the table toppers against third place side.
