Nigeria women’s team player Francisca “Franny”ordega has been crowned the Most Outstanding Female Footballer in Benue State.
The award was organized by Benue Coalition for Good governance and to inspire the youth of Benue state.
The Shanghai Shenhua player could not hired her joy after receiving the award wrote on her Twitter handle
“Congratulations to me... I am honored for being recognized by my people of Benue state...as the Most Outstanding Female Footballer in Benue State...The award was organized by Benue Coalition for Good governance..proudly Benue/Tiv..thanking you all????” she said.
Ordega represented Nigeria women's national football team at both the FIFA Women's World Cup and African Women's Championship.
The forward was also nominated for best female African footballer and currently plays for Shanghai Shenhua in the Chinese Women's Super League.
