Onyekuru Fails To Rescue Galatasaray From Defeat; Awaziem Benched

Super Eagles forward, Henry Onyekuru failed to rescue Turkish club, Galatasaray who fell to a 1-0 away defeat against Portuguese giants, FC Porto in their UEFA Champions League Group D match on Wednesday.

Onyekuru was in action for 90 minutes in the encounter played at the Estadio Do Dragao, Porto.

His international teammate, Chidozie Awaziem was an unused substitute for FC Porto in the game.

Moussa Marega netted the winning goal for the hosts in the game.

At the Wembley Stadium, London, FC Barcelona defeated their hosts Tottenham Hotspur 4-2 with Lionel Messi bagging a brace in the encounter.

Philippe Coutinho and Ivan Rakitic got the other goals for Barcelona, while Harry Kane and Erik Lamela were both on target for Tottenham Hotspur.

Another English club, Liverpool fell to a 1-0 defeat to Italian club Napoli at the Stadio San Paolo, Napoli.

Lorenzo Insigne scored the winning goal a minute before regulation time.
