Ogenyi Onazi has completed a move to Lithuanian second division club FK Babrungas, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The experienced midfielder last featured in Italy for SSD Città di Acireale and will wear the number 23 jersey at his new club.
Onazi began his professional career with S.S. Lazio, where he rose to prominence before moving on to play for Trabzonspor and Denizlispor in Turkey. He also previously had a stint in Lithuania with FK Žalgiris.
The 33-year-old has enjoyed a well-travelled career, featuring in leagues across Denmark, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and the United States.
Onazi was part of Nigeria’s victorious squad at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations and also represented the country at the youth level, playing for the U-17 and U-20 teams.
