Villareal CF have announced the acquisition of Tani Oluwaseyi on a five-year deal from Minnesota United, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

At 25, Oluwaseyi has developed into a dynamic forward renowned for his blend of physical strength, blistering pace, and ability to exploit space in behind defenses.

Comfortable playing across multiple attacking roles, he brings versatility to the front line while also excelling in the air and showcasing sharp link-up play that allows him to both score and create chances for teammates.

His time in Major League Soccer with Minnesota United FC has been particularly impressive, with 18 goals and 13 assists in just 50 appearances.

Born in Nigeria but representing Canada on the international stage, he has already earned 15 caps, netted twice, and was part of the squad that competed at the 2024 Copa América, where Canada featured as a guest nation.
