The 20-year-old was presented to the media on Tuesday after signing the dotted lines.
The former Heart of Lions man joins Gefle after leaving Swedish Superttan side Mjallby.
“Bonsu is the player who this season has the engine of the Mjallby midfield and in many occasions propel the offensive part forward," Gefle boss Roger Sandberg said at the press conference.

"As a player, he is very ball cautious and does not give away many balls. He has simply developed his finishing ability."
He joins a growing list of Ghanaian players who have featured for the side including Yusif Alhassan Chibsah, Joachim Adukor and Zakaria Abdulai.
