Official: Scottish club confirm acqusition of Ibrahim Said from Viborg FF

Motherwell have signed Ibrahim Said, making the switch from Viborg FF on a two-year deal for an undisclosed fee with the club holding the option of a further year, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Subject to international clearance, Said has made more than 100 appearances for Viborg FF during his time in Denmark, contributing 11 goals from his versatile role on the flanks. Comfortable operating on either wing, he has also earned international experience, having represented Nigeria at the Under-17 level.

“I am happy to be in the door,” Ibrahim Said, explains.

“This move has been long in the making, and I’m excited about what the manager is trying to build here. There are good players in the squad, and I hope I can excite everyone who comes to watch us play.”

Said developed his footballing foundation at the Dabo Babes Academy in Nigeria before leaping into European football in 2021, when he joined Danish side Viborg FF at the age of 18.

His talent had already attracted significant attention by then, with major clubs such as Club Brugge, ?stanbul Ba?ak?ehir, Liverpool, and Manchester City reportedly offering him contracts before his move to Denmark.
