The club also appointed former Rangers and Sharks striker Davidson Owumi as their general manager with Festus Onu as chairman.

Owumi has previously worked at Rangers as the club's CEO and was at Warri Wolves as CEO as well.

Ogunbote who was head coach at Enyimba last season was officially presented to the public at the state house in Enugu before the governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.

Ugwuanyi charged the Rangers newly-appointed officials of Rangers to work as a team in order to win trophies.

He hopes that the new officials will guide the club to winning ways after an underwhelming campaign in all competitions including the NPFL last season.

"I charge you both to work together and bring this team which is the pride of the southeast and Nigeria back to winning ways which I know is very possible with cooperation from both parties," the Enugu State governor told the new club officials following the ceremony to officially unveiled them to the public.
