Through a note published on their official website, Barcelona communicate that Matheus Fernandes has terminated his contract that bound him to the blaugrana club until 2025.
The midfielder arrived at Barcelona in the 2020 winter transfer window, but spent the remainder of the season on loan to Valladolid. He was involved with the senior squad for pre-season last summer, but made only one substitute appearance in the 2020/21 campaign.
