Through their official channels, Leeds United announced the signing of Kristoffer Klaesson from Valerenga. The 20 years old shot-stopper signed a 4 year contract with The Whites.

Klaesson made his Vålerenga debut against FK Haugesund in June 2019, helping them to a 4-1 victory. He went on to become first choice goalkeeper for the Eliteserien outfit, going on to make a further 56 appearances.

This term, the shot-stopper has featured 14 times for Vålerenga, who currently sit in seventh spot, halfway through their league campaign. Klaesson has also already amassed 38 caps for his native Norway at youth level, from Under-15s to Under-21s.
