Maxim Leitsch has extended at VfL Bochum. As the Bundesliga climber announced, the new working paper of the 23-year-old defensive player is dated until 2023. The Essen native's previous contract would have expired in 2022.

Leitsch comes from the youth of Bochum and already completed his first professional game for the Revierklub in 2016. In the current season he has played the full distance in two competitive games so far.
