The Nigeria Women Football League Club Owners Association (NWFLCOA) have congratulated Bayelsa Queens on winning the WAFU Zone B Women's Champions League qualifiers.
The Nigeria women's football league champions emerged victorious on Saturday after easing through Ampem Ladies of Ghana three goals to nil.
And this feat has elicited felicitations from the women's body.
"NWFLCOA is confident that the nation's torchbearers will take their winning performances to Morocco aimed at becoming the first Nigerian and sub-regional representatives to win the coveted trophy."
The Prosperity Girls joined Rivers Angels who had won the maiden edition of the qualifiers to qualify for the main tournament.
Bayelsa Queens will be part of the clubs who will play in the second edition of the CAF Women's Champion League in Morocco in October.
