Nigeria Women's Football Leagues have been scheduled to kickoff in November, Nigeriasoccernet.com gathered.
The two Top-tiers women league in the nation NWFL Premiership and Championship have been scheduled to kickoff on 15th November 2023 and 13th February, 2024 respectively.
The Premiership will hold between 15th November 2023 and 17th April, 2024 while the Championship gets 13th February as kick off date with its Super 6 scheduled to hold from 6th to 13th June, 2024.
The NWFL Premiership Super 6 for will hold between May 10th to 26th, 2024.
This information, according to BSNSports was made known at the Nigeria Women Football League organized Press Conference in Abuja.
Addressing the media at the conference in Abuja, the Chairman of the league, Ms Nkechi Obi while rolling out the busy schedules for the season added that concerted efforts are being made in making sure that the Leagues commence and end on the set dates. She also revealed that 16 teams will participate in the elite league for the first in its history while 20 clubs will slug it out among themselves in the Championship.
