Another round of mouthwatering fixtures were seen in the Nigeria Women's Football League Premiership in Wednesday as match day four of the 2022/2023 league took place across six centres

The fixtures birthed three away wins, two home wins and a draw.

Reigning champions, Bayelsa Queens Delta Queens and Robo Queens all got the better of their opponents away from home.

For Bayelsa Queens there was need to bounce back to victory after dropping two points last week.

A goal in each half  by Mary Aderemi and Flourish Sebastian were enough to get the needed win at the Warri Township Stadium.

In Awka Ibom, it was a five goal thriller as Robo Queens best Ibom Angles by five goals to two.

The tie started as if it was going to be a whitewash as the Lagos Landlady scored two quick goals in the first half.

Shobowale Rukayat gave the Lagos based side the early lead in Uyo in the fourth minute beforeO Shukurat doubled the lead for the rampant visitors five minute later.

Folashade Ijamilusi extended the advantage with a three goal margin 43 minute into the first half, but the home score through Adekemi Akintana the dead of the half time to give themselves a chance of a comeback.

Imoh Jones reduced the deficit of the resurgent hosts to one against the visitors in the 53rd minute, but it was not enough as the Queens held on for their first win of the season.

Delta Queens continued their impressive form to remain and finish top of group A in 2022 as they piped struggling Osun Babes by two goals to one.

Effiom Ekpenyong had given the Queens from Delta the lead as early as the 3rd minute of the game before Eberechukwu Oleka restored parity in the 51th minute.

However,   Chinaza Agor ensured Delta Queens got the win in the 85th minute.

2021 champions, Rivers Angels got a one nil win at home courtesy of Aguadze Juanita penalty kick  in the 29th minute after Okwuchukwu Chiamaka had been brought down by Kelechi Chukwulem.
