Former Flamingoes star, Opeyemi Ajakaye returned for Robo Queens to lead the team to a 2-1 victory in their Nigeria Women Football League match day 2 fixtures, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Ajakaye scored a late-minute goal to assist Robo Queens' rally back to beat Adamawa Queens in Lagos.

Tarfa Anastasia stunned the hosts with a shocking early opening goal at Onikan Stadium in the 24th minute as the first half ended 1-0.

Favour Nkwocha brought back the Lagos Landladies to the game with a 70th-minute equalizer.

It was Opeyemi Ajakaye who made a scoring return for the Lagos Landladies to give them the maximum points in the 90th minute.

Ajakaye who won bronze with the Nigeria Flamingoes at the 2022 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup completed a move to Spanish Women's Club Madrid CFF from Robo Queens.

In November 2024, she joined Carolina Ascent FC on loan from Kansas City for the remainder of the 2024 fall schedule before returning to Robo Queens.

With the win, Robo Queens have maintained their 100 percent record to the start of the season with two wins out of two.
