Nigeria U-17 girls have reached the final of the National Sports Festival women's football event after beating Ogun State in the semi final, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Flamingos who are part of the competition as Invited Junior Athletes (IJA) won 1-0 courtesy of a goal from Shakirat Moshood.
After a scoreless affair for over 1 hour 20 minutes, the deadlock was broken after a foul in the box led to a penalty.
Moshood who returned to the side after being sideline fron the game, stepped up to score after 86 minutes.

The win sees the Flamingos through to the finals. They will face team Delta State on the 27th of May at the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abeokuta.
