Bendel Insurance became the first club to secure a place in the super six following their goaless draw with Gombe United on Sunday, reports Nigeriasoccernet.com.

The Benin Gunners who are still unbeaten after 16 games held their grounds despite the series of threat on and off the pitch to pick a valuable point in the far North.

The result means they are officially the first club to book the spot as the 4th club on the log is 7 points behind them with two games left to be played.

Still in group A, at Ikenne, Remo Stars revived their super six hopes thanks to Nduka Junior 45+9 minutes penalty.

The win put them 3rd on the log as the maximum points from their final games will see them through.

Enyimba pip El-Kanemi Warriors by a lone goal to move a step closer to the super six.

At the bottom of the group, El-Kanemi Warriors looks ready for the NNL following their 1-0 home loss to Enyimba.

One of Nasarawa and Kwara United will likely join Warriors in the NNL.

In group B, Lobi Stars strengthen their grip on top of the log with a 1-0 win over Niger Tornadoes.

Abia Warriors rekindled their hope for a super six spot with a 3-0 hammering of Dakkada FC who looks set for the NNL.

With two games to go, there is all to play for both in the bid for a spot in the super six and to beat the drop. Aside Bendel Insurance whose place in the super six have been confirmed, the remaining 5 spots still up for grabs.
