NPFL: “We want to add five to six quality players” Bayelsa United coach ahead of resumption

Bayelsa United head coach Diepreye Tiebowei has revealed the club is looking to add six new players to the squad ahead of the second half of the 2022/2023 Nigeria Professional Football League season, Nigeriasoccernet.com  reports.

The South-south club are on mission to turn their fortunes around after a difficult start to life in the first half of the season.

Bayelsa United are 8th on the Group B table with just a win from nine games.

In order to arrest the terrible state of things coach Tiebowei disclosed to Daily Post the intention of the club before the league resume.

“We want to add five to six quality players ahead of the second half of the season,” head coach, Diepreye Tiebowei said.

“We need to improve in all areas of the pitch,” he added.

Bayelsa United will take on Rangers FC when the NPFL resume on March 25.
