Kano Pillars have entered into negotiation with Enyimba captain, Chinedu Udoji.
The Pyramid City side endured a disappointing campaign last term as they finished in the seventh place.
They are now looking to bring in the centre- back to bolster their defence ahead of the new campaign.
"We are interested in signing Chinedu Udoji from Enyimba and he is keen on joining us too," Kano Pillars media officer, Idris Malikawa revealed to our sports team.
"It's a long process as we are aware Enyimba will not want to lose such an important player.
" But we are hopeful he will be able to join us at the end of the day."
Udoji played a key role to help Enyimba win a record seventh title two seasons ago under the guidance of Kadiri Ikhana.
Udoji is now looking to rejoin the veteran tactician at Pillars.
