Enyimba captain and defender, Chinedu Udoji, believes players that will eventually make up the NPFL All-Stars team will help improve the quality of the players in the long run.

Udoji, a member of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) All-Stars currently preparing for the Carranza La Liga World Club Tournament in Spain from August 10 to 13, insists there are lots of benefits the players will get from the tour.

"Playing against quality stars in the Valencia CF and Malaga teams will surely help improve us individually. Such exposure will expand our understanding of the game and make us see the game from other perspectives," Udoji said.

Speaking on the comparisons between the players in the NPFL and those in the La Liga, the Enyimba centre-back clearly stated that there was no basis for comparison as the La liga remains one of the best leagues in the world and the NPFL remains one of the best leagues in Africa.
