2021/2022 Nigeria Football League top scorer, Chijoke Akuneto is set to join multiple League winners, Enyimba FC for the second stanza of the 2022/2023 season, Nigeriasoccernet.com has gathered.

Akuneto who won the league with Rivers United last season was awarded the league top scorer award, but not much has been known of him since then.
It has however been revealed the player will be joining Enyimba soon after he was spotted on Sunday in the Abia State FA Cup final at the Enyimba Fc stadium between Enyimba Fc and Ahudinnem Fc.

Reports say Chijoke Akuneto will be putting pen to paper on a deal with the Aba Elephants in the coming days ahead of the second stanza of the NPFL.
