In a rescheduled showdown, the Nigeria Premier Football League has slated the clash between Rivers United and Bayelsa for Thursday, December 14, following its earlier postponement due to Rivers United's CAF Confederation Cup commitment against Club Africain of Tunisia, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The anticipated match is set to commence at 4 pm at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt.

Currently positioned at 15th on the NPFL table with 12 points, Rivers United boasts a record of three wins, three draws, and three defeats in nine games.

On the other hand, Bayelsa United, having recently halted a six-game winless streak, finds themselves at the bottom of the NPFL table.
