A goal by Ikechukwu Ibenegbu in the first half and a second half strike by Daniel Etor were enough for champions Enyimba to beat FC IfeanyiUbah 2-0 in a Nigeria league match on Saturday.
Enyimba are now eighth on the table with 24 points from 14 matches, while IfeanyiUbah slipped in their title chase.
'Mosquito' Ibenegbu put Enyimba ahead after 17 minutes, when he smashed home a poor clearance.

But the home team had to wait till the hour mark before they will celebrate another goal.
Etor finished off from close range a lovely team play that involved Mfon Udoh.
Enyimba won last season's fixture 4-0.
