Remo Stars continued their perfect form at the start of the season after another win over reigning Nigeria Premier Football League champions, Rangers International on Sunday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Sky Blue Stars pipped the Flying Antelopes 2-1 at the Remo Stars Stadium to return to the zenith of the league standings.

A cagey first half saw the two sides inseparable with a goalless scoreline.

The second half started explosively with three goals in nine minutes from both sides to give the game the feel of the clash of table toppers.

The hosts broke the deadlock with Alex Oyowah scoring in the 50th minute before Kenechukwu Agu equalised from the spot 4 minutes later.

A minute before the hour mark, Remo Stars were in front again courtesy of Tochuwku Michael who shaped to his left before hitting the top corner to restore the lead.

The goal proved decisive as Remo Stars made it four wins out of four matches to maintain the top spot.
