The Ikon Allah boys ran with a 1-0 nil win over the Prosperity Boys at the Samson Siasia Stadium courtesy of an Ikechukwu Nwani strike.

It was a game between two sides who sought to win to help their fight for relegation as a cagey first half ended barren.

The second half moved up a bit in tempo as the visitors broke the deadlock 12 minutes into the half after a fine team build up.

Derou Chima and Clinton Jepta's beautiful one-two pass saw Chima locate Nwani who put the ball pass goalkeeper from close range.

The hosts as expected pushed for an equaliser, but Tornadoes did enough to record their first away win of the season and do the double this season over Bayelsa United.

The result put Bayelsa United in 15 position with 27 points ahead of Niger Tornadoes which are 16th with same points.
