El-Kanemi Warriors have stepped up training ahead of Sunday's Nigerian Professional Football League match against Abia Warriors, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The Borno outfit after losing 2-0 last week to Remo Stars must redeem themselves when they host their Eastern opposition on Matchday 17.
The Desert Warriors will host Abia Warriors at El-Kanemi Stadium, Maiduguri.
"This morning, El-Kanemi Warriors FC of Maiduguri held an intensive training session in preparation for their Week 17 league encounter with Abia Warriors, scheduled for Sunday.
"The team focused on tactical drills and physical conditioning, aiming to refine their game plan for this pivotal match.
