Dakkada FC returned to winning ways with their first clean sheet this season after piping the Gombe based club by a goal to nil courtesy of Mmekutmfon Udosen's strike at the Nest of Champions.

After playing without a win since mid February the Uyo side came into the tie with a lot of intent to end the poor run.

They were the better side for a large part of the encounter, but the momentum they had could not produce a goal.

However, their performance paid off early in the second half as Mmekutmfon Udosen tapped into the net after a blocked shot by goalkeeper Kingdom in the 59th minutes.

Dakkada FC did enough to keep the score the same till the end of the tie to get a vital victory as their battle out of the relegation zone continues.
