Technical Adviser of Bayelsa United, Diepreye Teibowei in a pre match interview has disclosed that a win against Dakkada FC is their aim in order to kick start the season on a high.
The newly promoted side will square up against the Uyo based team for the first time in Nigeria's elite league in one of the first match fixture in group B.
And Coach Teibowei states that he and his team will be going for a win as a win will enhance their campaign going forward.
”We are going to win that is the expectation for every fan and that is our desire we have trained very so that come Sunday we don’t disappoint our fans.
It’s our first home game in the NPFL and that will give us a big boost if we win our first home game this season.
We had some injuries but most of them have recovered, we have a capable team of doing well”, he said.
The Aiteo Cup winners play their first match at home at the Samson Siasia Stadium on Sunday against Dakkada FC on Sunday.
