Enyimba FC has today confirmed the acquisition of experienced striker Junior Lokosa and seven other players amidst an inconsistent run with the club looking to turn the tides around in the second phase of the NPFL campaign, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
A significant restructuring of the squad has taken place, with a wave of new talent arriving to bolster the team across all positions. The defensive line sees a notable influx of experience, featuring center-back Afolanyan Peters, who joins from Heartland FC, and left-back Solomon Onome, bringing his proven expertise. Additionally, defender Ebube Micheal and Nelson Micheal, previously with Shashemene Kanema in Ethiopia, add further depth and versatility to the backline.
The midfield has been strengthened with the acquisition of defensive midfielder Gozie Umeh and attacking midfielder Opeoluwa Olufemi, both arriving from Sunshine Stars. Quadiri Olusunkanmi, a midfielder with a proven track record, joins from Heartland FC, promising to add creativity and control to the team's play.
Finally, the attacking line receives a significant boost with the arrival of striker Junior Lokosa, known for his goal-scoring prowess.
