With a heroic performance, Akor scored twice including a beauty and an assist as the Birds came back to beat 10-man Valerenga by four goals to three at the Intility Arena.

It was Valerenga who started with a goal in the 6th minute of the game through Hakans, but Adams set up Thomas Lehne Olsen nicely for the Norwegian to score the equaliser in the 17th minute.

Bjordal and Jatta took the host back to the lead in the 27th and 30th minute respectively to make the score 3-1 as it looked gloomy for the Canaries.

However, Simen Juklerød's red card seven minutes after the third goal became a cog in the wheel of the host as the first phase of the game winded down.

In the second half, Adams doesn't assist this time, but scores to restore some level of hope for Lillestrom by reducing the deficit a minute into the second half.

Gjerund Åsen made the push for a goal count as he scored the equaliser some seconds to 90 as the scoreboard changed to 3-3.

Lillestrom were not done yet as Akor Adams scored a half volley for his brace and fourth goal of the season to hand the win to his team at additional time.

The win takes Lillestrom to the second spot of the Eliteserien, a point adrift of leaders, Bodo Glimt after four matches played so far this season.

Their next match comes up in five days time against the league leaders at the Arasen Stadium.
