NNL: Madiba captain optimistic of win against Ikorodu City FC

Madiba FC captain, Rabiu Nurudeen is upbeat that they will beat Ikorodu City FC in the Nigeria National League match day 4 encounter this weekend, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

With a win at the beginning of the season against Ekiti United, a draw against FC Ebedei and another Abeokuta Stormers Sports Club, the Solomon Bala boys top Southern Conference group B2 log.

The NLO Super Six champions are seeking to continue the fine run with a win and the Captain of side is confident that they will emerge winners in the Lagos Derby.

"I know the match is going to be though but what I believe is that we Madiba boys we are going to come out victoriously. We are set and ready," he said.

The Oshodi Boys as nicknamed will trade tackles with their Lagos counterpart at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan on Friday, April 7.
