"We're delighted that Justin has chosen Borussia and that we can develop him further in the U23 team," says Mirko Sandmöller, Borussia's director of the youth academy. "Justin brings an exciting profile as a striker – he's very fast and has a good finish. He's versatile in attack and can play both in the center and on the wings."

Born to a Nigerian father from Edo State, Adozi moved to FohlenStall from Sportfreunde Siegen, continuing his steady rise through the German youth football ranks. The 19-year-old first made the switch from SG Betzdorf’s U17 side to Siegen’s U19 team in 2023, where he quickly made his mark.

In the U19 DFB Youth League (League B) last season, he registered seven goals and one assist in just 14 appearances, underlining his eye for goal.

Beyond youth level, he also gained valuable senior experience, featuring in six competitive matches across the Oberliga Westfalen and the Westfalenpokal.

His contributions came during a successful campaign for Sportfreunde Siegen, who capped off the season by securing promotion to the Regionalliga West as champions.
