Nigeria international John Ogu’s Hapoel Beer Sheva will face compatriot Brown Ideye’s Olympiacos in a UEFA Champions league playoff after a 0-0 draw with Sheriff Tirapsol in Moldova.
Barak Bakhar’s men held on to their first leg 3-2 victory with goals from John Ogu, Elianiv Barda, Mahran Radi at the Turner stadium as they could not manage a shot on target at the Sheriff stadium.
John Ogu who was in action for 90miuntes shared his excitement after the game.
The 28-year old Hapoel Beer Sheva playmaker took to Twitter to share his planned date with fellow compatriot Brown Ideye in Greece next week saying; “Thank God for tonight’s game. Through to the next round to face Olympiacos. See you next week bro @OfficialIdeye.”
Olympiacos begin their Champions league next week when Hapoel Beer Sheva come visiting to the Karaiskakis Stadium next week.
