The Super Eagles of Nigeria are champions of the 2025 Unity Cup following their win over Jamaica on Saturday evening, NigeriaSoccernet.com reports.

The West African giants edged the Reggae Boys on penalties 5-4 following a 2-2 draw at regulation time at the Tech Community Stadium in the Unity Cup final.

Moses Simeon opened the score after 9 minutes following an assist from Cyriel Dessers, but the Jamaicans equalised the score through Kaheim Dixon three minutes later to end the half 1-1.

Samuel Chukwueze brought back the Super Eagles into the lead on 53 minutes through Nathan Tella's assist before J. Russell, 10 minutes later, scored to peg back the three-time champions of the Africa Nations Cup.

There was nothing to choose between the two sides at the end of the final as the encounter moved to penalties.

Kelechi Iheanacho, Moses Simon, Tolu Arokodare, Onyemachi, and Uche Christantus all scored while Atkinson of Jamaica missed the fourth penalty as the Eagles won the title for the second consecutive time.
