The Super Eagles have denied a power tussle between assistant coach Salisu Yusuf and Jean Francois Luscuito in the absence of ailing Sunday Oliseh.

There were speculations that all is not going well between the two coaches as regards who should be calling the shots in the team’s CHAN training camp in Abuja as Oliseh is still in his sick bed in Belgium.

“There is not rift between the coaches. I don’t know where these stories are coming because they have been working together very well,” countered team spokesman Toyin Ibitoye.

Oliseh has designated Luscuito as the Eagles No.2 man ahead of former Pillars and Enyimba coach Yusuf, who is believed to have a better understanding of the Nigeria league and the players.
