The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have kicked into motion plans to conduct fresh elections into the State Football Associations.

In a letter dated November 28 and signed by NFF general secretary Mohammed Sanusi, the state FAs were asked to furnish the NFF with their various plans for fresh elections.

The NFF demanded from the 36 State FAs and FCT their electoral committee and appeals committee members, election guidelines as well as proposed date and venue for the polls.

The letter also made it very clear that the elections may be conducted on or before the date of the last polls of the various state FAs.

The state FAs form the bulk of the 44-man NFF congress, the highest decision-making body of the country’s football.
