Nigeria international and former Akwa United forward Ndifreke Effiong have parted ways with Libyan club Al Ahly Benghazi on mutual consent.

The former U-23 Eagles is reported to be leaving the club due to breach of contract.

According to sportnation.com, the former Akwa United FC man is owed over 3 months wages plus other unfulfilled financial agreements by Al Ahly Benghazi.

Ndifreke Effiong through his representatives have dragged Al Ahly before world football governing body FIFA to answer for this contractual breaches.

Effiong, now a free agent will look to get a new club to continue, but it shouldn't difficult for the experience player with great scoring ability.
