Report from editorial staff, Nath Boys of Lagos will profit from the sale of Wilfred Ndidi to Leicester City or Manchester United in the winter transfer market.

During negotiations with Racing Genk in January 2015, the Nigerian club inserted a ten percent sell-on clause into the agreement.

This website can now confirm that if performance-related incentives are included, it could push up Ndidi’s transfer fee to Leicester City to 15 million pounds, meaning Nath Boys will pocket £1.5m (equivalent of N862.5 million), ignoring the amount Manchester United will pay for his signature.

With only four full international caps for Nigeria in the last two years, Ndidi doesn’t automatically qualify for a British work permit, but will be issued the document because of the huge transfer fee involved and his wages.
