Napoli ready to break wage structure to keep Osimhen in Naples

Italian Serie A outfit, Napoli have been reported to be ready to break their wage structure to keep Victor Osimhen in the club for one more season, Nigeriasoccernet.com gathered.

The Super Eagles striker no doubt has been standout in the league season scoring 13 goals in 15 appearances for Luciano Spaletti men.

Multiple reports reaching us at Nigeriasoccernet.com says Napoli are prepared to break their wage structure to keep Victor Osimhen at the club and offer him a much bigger salary than he earns now.

Napoli currently have a maximum salary limit of €3.5m per year for any player, but are prepared to make an exception for Osimhen.

They are set to meet the forward’s representatives according to AreaNapolireports and offer him a contract worth up to €7m per season and Napoli believe it could help them convince Osimhen to stay on for at least one more season.

Osimhen has been a subject of speculations for a while now with clubs from England (Man Utd, Newcastle Utd, Chelsea) and France (PSG) interested in his signature.
