West Ham United eased into the next round of the Emirates FA Cup as their Nigerian stars Emmanuel Emenike and Victor Moses scored to propel them past Blackburn Rovers.

Emenike, who made a winter move to the English side, scored a brace in the game while Moses was also on target as West Ham ran riot at Ewood Park defeating Blackburn Rovers 5-1.

The home side got off the mark in the 20th minute through Ben Marshall but that lead only lasted six minutes as Moses equalised for the Premiership side.

The 25-year-old picked up the ball in his own half and skimmed his way into the Blackburn area and let fly from 20 yards to tie the game at 1-1.

In-form striker Dimitri Payet made it 2-1 in the 36th minute as West Ham took control of the tie with Emenike hitting his first and second West Ham goals in the 64th and 85th minutes.

Payet completed the rout in stoppage time to give West Ham a comprehensive victory and a ticket to the next round of the FA Cup.

Both sides finished with 10 men each as Chris Taylor (Blackburn) and Cheikou Kouyate (West Ham) both saw red in a fiery second half.
