Morroco 2024: CAF reveal venues for  WAFCON finals

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) and the Local Organising Committee (LOC) have confirmed the match venues for the highly anticipated 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

For the first time in the tournament's history, six stadiums will host the competition.

The selected venues are Olympic Stadium in Rabat, Larbi Zaouli Stadium in Casablanca, Père Jégo Stadium in Casablanca, El Bachir Stadium in Mohammédia, Honor Stadium in Oujda and Berkane Stadium in Berkane.

The WAFCON 2024 finals will kick off on July 5 and run until July 26, 2025, with Morocco serving as the host nation.

The Super Falcons of Nigeria, nine-time champions, have been drawn in Group B alongside Botswana, Tunisia, and Algeria.

South Africa are the defending champions, having won the last edition of the tournament, which was also hosted by Morocco.
