Moffi propels Nice to victory over PSG with brace and assist

Nigeria's Terem Moffi was the catalyst OGC Nice needed in their win over reigning champions of the French Ligue 1 on Friday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Super Eagles striker was in the scheme of things as les Aiglons edged PSG 2-3 at the Parc des Princes for their second straight win under new manager Francesco Farioli.

A goal in each half and an assist from the Nigerian handed Luis Henrique his first defeat as the manager of PSG in the league.

Moffi opened score in the 20 minutes into the game to set the tone for a pulsating encounter.

Star Boy Kylian Mbappé would later equal score for the host eight minutes later as the first 45 minutes ended one all.

At the start of the second half, Nice started just like they did in the first half with Moffi getting into action once again. A pass from the former L'Orient man to Gaëtan Laborde was put in the net nicely 10 minutes into the half.

It was Moffi once again to score with a wonderful strike in the 68 minutes to give the visitors a two-goal cushion.

Mbappe pulled one back in the 87th minute, but did little or no harm as Nice went away with maximum points to go second of the league standings after five matches.

Terem Moffi have now scored 3 goals and provided 2 assists from 5 league games for Nice this season.
