MLS - Goalkeeper Clement Diop mutually agree contract termination

CF Montréal and goalkeeper Clement Diop have mutually decided to end their contract, according to the club. Diop, 27, was signed by the team in the Waiver Draft before to the 2018 season.

Under Thierry Henry, he gained the starting role in 2020 and remained the starter this season before suffering an injury. With Montréal, he made 30 appearances.

Diop began his Major League Soccer career with the LA Galaxy, where he made 17 appearances.

"CF Montréal would like to thank Clément and wishes him the best of luck for the rest of his career," a club statement read.
