AC Milan have announced that Léo Duarte today underwent an operation at the Alfredson Tendon Clinic in Umeå, Sweden to treat a fracture to the calcaneus at the point where it meets the left achilles tendon.

The operation was performed by Prof. Håkan Alfredson with the Cub’s Team Doctor Stefano Mazzoni in attendance and the operation went exactly according to plan.
Recovery time is estimated to be 3/4 months.
