Milan have reached an agreement with Adidas to produce the club’s playing kit in a contract worth €500m, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The 10-year deal will run from 2028 to 2038, with Adidas paying €50m per season. The German company will replace Puma as Milan’s technical sponsor from the 2028-29 campaign.

The agreement represents a substantial increase on Milan’s existing arrangement with Puma. That contract was initially valued at €14m per season before rising to €30m from 2022.

Adidas’ new contract with Milan is expected to become the largest technical sponsorship agreement involving a Serie A club.

Last year, Juventus signed a 10-year deal with the German company worth €408m. Inter’s agreement with Nike, completed in 2023, provides the club with €30m per season over eight years.

The new partnership will also mark Adidas’ return to Milan after previous spells supplying the club’s kit. The company worked with Milan in the early 1990s and again during Carlo Ancelotti’s time as manager in the early 2000s.
