Striker Mfon Udoh is looking forward to finding the back of the net on a regular basis this season after his brace helped Enyimba beat Uganda's Vipers Sports Club 2-0 in the second leg of their CAF Champions League preliminary round fixture in Port Harcourt on Sunday.
The forward who scored 23 goals for Enyimba two seasons ago, the highest by any individual in a single season in the Nigeria Professional Football League, was hampered by injury and loss of form last term.
After missing the first leg of the clash against Vipers due to injury, the former Akwa United forward returned on Sunday helping the Peoples Elephant to a 2-1 aggregate win.
"I'm delighted with the win against Vipers," Udoh told Conpletesportsnigeria.com.
"It's always nice when you score important goals like I did on Sunday.
"I look forward to scoring more goals for the club this season."
