Medeama striker Nathaniel Asamoah says personal glory must take a back seat for the club to triumph this season.

Asamoah is returning to his best after scoring 13 goals to lead the goal king chart on the domestic scene this term.

The former Asante Kotoko attacker, whose return to the local scene was blighted with recurrent injuries, has peaked at the right time for the Mauve and Yellows.

He has so far hit double-figures for the Tarkwa-based side as they chase three titles – League, FA Cup and Elite Cup.

And the club’s leading marksman says he won’t be bothered to lose the individual award.
