According to Teamtalk, citing Pete O’Rourke, Manchester United may make an approach for the Brazilian in January. The club are considering Wesley for the left side of their defence, an area currently viewed as a problem within the squad.

Manchester United are not the only English club monitoring the player. Arsenal and Newcastle have also shown interest in signing him.
